So, here’s to my new blog. I figured I’d do a little research into the Riot Grrrl movement, the bands associated with it, what it means to be a Riot Grrrl, and all that fun stuff. I’ve always been into alternative culture (ok, so I had a brief run-in with pre-teen boy band adoration, but seriously, who could resist N Sync and Justin Timberlake’s cute head of curls? not me, for sure). I’ll get this up and rolling fairly soon, so sit tight. There will be plenty of videos posted and I’m going to take a look at a few modern day Riot Grrrl-esque bands/artists too.
